Job Opportunity: Food Service Worker/Cashier at Canteen

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier positions at our cafe located at 3M - New Lair Road, Cynthiana, KY 41031. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 1:30 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Cashier experience, food preparation skills, and a food handlers permit are required.

Job Summary

Perform cashiering duties and general food service tasks while maintaining sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties

1. Prepare food items such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and measuring ingredients.
2. Transport food and supplies safely within the facility.
3. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
8. Handle sales transactions accurately, including issuing receipts and making change.
9. Manage cash drawers and ensure compliance with overage/shortage standards.
10. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in service areas.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
