Location: Texas Woman's University

+ We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining facilities. Essential duties include:

1. Performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighing and measuring ingredients.
2. Carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards.
3. Storing foods properly, adhering to safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
4. Cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Using approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
7. Serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner, following steps of service.
8. Interacting with customers and resolving complaints professionally.
9. Relaying relevant information to supervisors.
10. Performing sales transactions, entering sales into the register, making change, and accepting various payment methods.
11. Issuing receipts and handling cash refunds according to procedures.
12. Managing change funds and ensuring cash drawer accuracy.
13. Replenishing condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
14. Performing other duties as assigned.
