+ We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

+ Location: Mayo Clinic - 700 West Avenue South, La Crosse, WI 54601. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time schedule. 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, 6:15 am to 2:45 pm, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm; days may vary. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous food service experience required.

+ Pay Range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashier duties and general food service work, maintaining sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Measure ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly with correct wrapping, dating, and rotation.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Follow recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portions.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Address customer concerns professionally.
9. Relay information to supervisors.
10. Handle sales transactions accurately, including making change and accepting payment methods.
11. Issue receipts and handle cash refunds per procedures.
12. Manage cash drawer, ensuring accuracy.
13. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
