We are hiring immediately for full and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER / CASHIER positions at Boise State, located at 1910 W University Drive, Boise, ID 83725. Note: online applications are accepted only.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

This role involves cashiering duties and general food service work, including maintaining sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; measure ingredients.
• Transport food and supplies safely between stations and storage areas.
• Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Follow recipes and production standards to ensure quality and proper portion sizes.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, following established service procedures.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints professionally.
• Communicate relevant information to supervisors.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handle payments, give change, and issue receipts.
• Manage cash drawer responsibly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
