Job Summary:
As a Food Service Worker at Selrico Services Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our customers. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for the hospitality and restaurant industry, who are looking to join a dynamic and growing team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position requiring an individual contributor who can work with little supervision.

Three shifts available: 5AM-1PM; 1PM-9PM; 9PM-5AM. Sandwich Shop is open 24/7.

SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE - LANDLINE AVAILABLE, IF NEEDED.

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $16 to $18 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, eligible employees will receive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up serving stations, including condiments, utensils, and napkins.
2. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
3. Ensure all food and drinks are prepared according to health and safety standards.
4. Keep the dining area clean and tidy, including wiping down tables and chairs and emptying trash bins.
5. Restock supplies, including beverages and condiments, as needed.
6. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders.
7. Work with a team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
8. Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred.
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
5. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
6. Must be able to pass military background check.
7. Must obtain a Food Handler Certificate.
8. Must have a R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov).
