Job description

Available Shifts:

5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepares, heats, and finishes cooking food items and serves customers, clients, and/or employees.
2. Receives and disburses money in a food service establishment.
3. Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
4. Prepares food by peeling, slicing, and trimming using manual and electric appliances.
5. Assists with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections.
6. Observes safety, sanitation, and health rules and standards.
7. Portions food or directly places it on plates for service to residents, employees, or patrons; packages takeout foods.
8. Prepares foods and handles payments for food items.
9. Replenishes supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at service areas.
10. Stores food properly to prevent spoilage.
11. Takes and serves customers' orders.
12. Unpacks and stores supplies, raw, and prepared food products.

Qualifications:

An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary skills to perform the job successfully.
