Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. They will ensure high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.49 to $21.92. If both figures are identical, that is the offered amount. This is Aramark’s estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to the menu
• Complete daily transaction reports
• Understand meal components
• Store food accurately and hygienically
• Serve food as per schedules and policies
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare various food items timely
• Add garnishments for visual appeal and customer satisfaction
• Clean refrigerators, freezers, and equipment regularly
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage
• Adhere to uniform policies
• Coordinate with the manager daily for menu planning
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
