Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Verify transactions and prepare daily reports.
• Understand meal inclusions and ensure proper storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items and beverages timely.
• Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and cooking/serving equipment.
• Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
• Maintain a neat and sanitary garbage collection site and kitchen floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in different kitchen areas.
• This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
