Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the expected offer. This is Aramark’s good faith estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Verify transactions and prepare daily reports
• Understand meal components
• Store food accurately and hygienically
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare food, beverages, and add garnishments for presentation
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness
• Adhere to uniform policy
• Coordinate with the manager on daily menus
• Supervise food temperature and maintain organized work areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Maintain cleanliness of garbage and kitchen floors
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including physical tasks like lifting and standing, and use of PPE
