Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Verify transactions by preparing daily reports
• Understand meal components and storage requirements
• Ensure proper storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare various food items and beverages timely
• Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
• Adhere to uniform policies
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menus
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Manage garbage collection and kitchen sanitation
• Perform other duties as assigned, including additional kitchen areas
• This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing; uniforms and PPE may be required.
