Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records; assist in completing daily reports; and uphold high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the expected offer. This estimate reflects Aramark's good faith and reasonable expectation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
  2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
  3. Understand meal components.
  4. Ensure proper and sanitary food storage.
  5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
  6. Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
  7. Timely preparation of various food items and beverages.
  8. Add garnishments to enhance presentation and customer satisfaction.
  9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and cooking/serving equipment.
  10. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
  11. Adhere to uniform policy.
  12. Coordinate with the manager daily for menu preparation.
  13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Clean and sanitize counters and equipment.
  16. Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
  17. Maintain garbage and kitchen floor areas in a sanitary condition.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned, including tasks in different kitchen areas.
  19. This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
