Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Long Description

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.00 to $20.00. This is Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Complete daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components.
4. Store food safely and hygienically.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items and beverages promptly.
8. Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
10. Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
11. Adhere to uniform policies.
12. Coordinate with the manager daily for menu preparation.
13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
14. Keep work and storage areas clean and organized.
15. Sanitize counters and equipment.
16. Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety, including sweeping and ware washing.
17. Maintain a neat garbage area.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
19. This role may involve physical activity and the use of PPE.
