Job description

Join to apply for the Food Service Worker 1 PRN Premium role at Our Lady of the Lake.

Perform a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; clean area and cooking utensils following infection control/HACCP guidelines.

1. Set up serving area and serve customers in accordance with established schedule and procedures.
2. Clean the cafeteria area, serving utensils, and equipment, following infection control and HACCP guidelines.
3. Carry dishes and food between the production area and serving lines.
4. Present all menu items attractively, following sanitary procedures, and maintain adequate supplies of food and non-food items during meal service.
5. Inform supervisor of all supply and equipment needs.
6. Greet all customers promptly and courteously.
7. Complete all documentation requirements: temperature logs, cleaning schedules, etc.
8. Understand standard infection control and HACCP guidelines.
9. Understand role in hospital fire, safety, and disaster programs.
10. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Experience: Previous experience in food service is preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
