The New York State Office of Mental Health is seeking a Food Service Worker 1 to ensure proper food service and cleanliness. This physically demanding role involves food preparation, assisting in dishwashing, and maintaining sanitation. Duties Description: As a Food Service Worker 1, you will be responsible for serving food and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas. The role involves physical effort, including preparing trays, transporting food carts, cleaning dishes and equipment, and participating in sanitation activities. Some food preparation and operation of a dishwasher may be required. Ensuring that individuals in care are fed properly is a key aspect of this position.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be physically capable of performing the tasks and must speak and write in English.
