Food Service Worker performs routine tasks including food preparation, counter service, cashiering, inventory rotation, and strict sanitation maintenance. Core Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Basic Assembly: Preparing simple menu items, trimming produce, slicing meats, and assembling patient trays or student meals.
• Line Serving: Setting up, refilling, and serving hot or cold items on the cafeteria line.
• Portion Control: Measuring exact servings according to specific recipe cards or medical diet restrictions.
• Catering Setup: Transporting meal carts and setting up designated layout spaces for special corporate or campus events

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
