Job summary

Northeast Baptist Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with patient food preparation, tray assembly, and related catering tasks in our hospital dining program.

You will transport carts, deliver trays, wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment, while complying with local regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Preferred: High School Graduate or equivalent
• One year in patient-feeding food service establishment (preferred).

• Maintains safe work environment.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Able to read, write and understand the English language.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year in patient-feeding food service establishment

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.
