FSA Ambassador - 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm - Every other weekend
Candidates must be flexible and willing to retrieve patient orders from patient rooms and work online if needed.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Personable and a team player
Perform a variety of tasks related to the preparation, service, and delivery of food products and service operations, including:
- Preparing, mixing, assembling, portioning, serving, and storing food as directed
- Receiving, inspecting, storing, securing, disbursing, and controlling inventory of foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment
- Functioning as a cashier when directed
Additional duties include:
- Stripping carts/trays, sorting, rinsing, washing dishes and silverware, operating and unloading dishwashers, and storing clean items
- Inspecting washed items for cleanliness and damage
- Cleaning and sanitizing dish machines and assigned areas
- Washing pots, pans, and equipment
- Collecting, sorting, and disposing of trash
- Following all safety procedures for equipment and chemicals
Level II Responsibilities:
- Setting up and serving food to patients and cafeteria customers as per menus, ensuring proper portioning and sanitation standards
- Operating and monitoring food service equipment, cleaning and sanitizing after use
- Assisting in tray line and cafeteria setup, maintaining quality and safety standards
- Detecting and reporting improperly prepared food, damaged merchandise, and stock issues
- Assisting in the maintenance of work areas and reporting problems
- Placing food and supply orders with vendors under supervision
- Reviewing stock levels, conducting inventories, and maintaining records
- Transporting food carts, preparing food for catering, and organizing catering services
- Maintaining inventory of catering equipment and upkeep of catering areas
Cashier Duties:
- Calculating total costs, accepting payments, and validating meal cards
- Balancing cash/tickets, depositing money, and preparing deposit reports
