• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Reports to:

Food Service Director and Supervisor, District Administrators

Position Goal:

To carry out assigned tasks in the proper operation of the district food service program.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred in the many duties of a food service operation.
• Ability to perform the required duties.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist where assigned in the proper preparation of food on a daily basis.
• Assist with setting up service areas and with the portioning and serving of food items.
• Assist where assigned in the daily cleaning of the food service areas and/or food utensils.
• Assist as necessary in establishing the daily count of lunches served.
• Comply with all safety and health standards as set forth by state and federal regulations.
• Assist with the care, cleaning and regular maintenance of food service equipment.
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the food service supervisor and/or the building principal.
• Regular attendance is an essential duty for this position.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Terms of Employment:

Salary and work year to be determined annually by the School Board.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the food service supervisor and/or other supervisors.
