Position: Food Service Worker inside a correctional facility. Responsible for supervising inmate labor and team members, preparing and serving food according to menus and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service
• Prepare and assist in food preparation following recipes and instructions

• Serve food according to schedule and policies
• Use kitchen equipment safely and properly
• Train other workers
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Follow uniform and safety policies
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum age 18
• Preferred: prior institutional or restaurant food service experience
