Job Description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is currently seeking a food service worker to provide excellent customer service to our patients and their families efficiently. As part of our nutrition team, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the nutrition necessary for their recovery. Our priority is patient care, and your interactions with patients offer an opportunity to positively impact their day, aligning with our mission: The Best Place to Get Care. Shift Details:

• 40 hours per week
• Saturdays and Sundays required
• 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Handling, preparing, and serving food according to menus and sanitation standards.
• Preparing cafeteria food service and delivering food to customers.
• Restocking cafeteria supplies.
• Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
• Managing inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling to ensure availability.
• Supporting cashier and dishwasher duties as needed.

We seek individuals passionate about working with people, with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, flexibility, self-direction, eagerness to learn, and teamwork ability. Candidates should be comfortable on their feet all day.
