Job Summary:

The Dietary Lead, under supervision of the Food Service Manager, is responsible for scheduling, staffing, and maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring high customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner with respect and dignity.

Experience/Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a food service worker preferred
• Must complete the Safe-Serve Course for food service

Education:

• High School Graduate or equivalent

Licenses/Certifications:

• Must obtain and maintain LA County Fire Card certification within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to hospital policies, safety, and legal standards
• Prepare patient meals and supplies
• Manage staff schedules and equipment maintenance
• Perform sanitation inspections and ensure timely meal service
• Monitor refrigerator temperatures and document accordingly
