Job Overview:

The Food Service Worker is responsible for assembly, disbursement, and clean-up of food and nourishment items for patients, employees, and visitors. They perform sanitation procedures, tray delivery, pick-up, and menu collection.

Qualifications:

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of food service experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shifts vary (e.g., 6:30am-3:00pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:30am-8:00pm)
• Rotating weekends
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Assemble, disburse, and clean food and beverages promptly to meet deadlines
• Ensure temperature-appropriate food delivery following schedule
• Prepare work station and replenish supplies before shift ends
• Follow procedures for tray line delivery and standards of conduct
• Greet patients, visitors, and staff professionally
• Maintain sanitation standards as directed
• Read menus accurately and assemble correct food items with minimal errors
• Report patient requests and preferences appropriately
