Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside the Harnett County Detention Center. You will prepare and serve a variety of food items, follow menus, train staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining quality service in a correctional facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years of age, and prior institutional food service experience; on-site presence is required.

• High school diploma or GED is required and candidate must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in institutional food service or restaurant settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and department procedures.
• Prepare and cook food using utensils/equipment and portion to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the role.
• Perform other duties as needed.

About This Position

This position is working inside a jail/correctional facility at the Harnett County Detention Center.

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director.You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• Required:
  • We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 21 years of age.
  • We require prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
