Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Worker for an onsite facility in Missouri. The shift runs from 4am to 2:30pm, with weekend and holiday availability required. Compensation includes a $1,000 bonus and a $250 Rookie's Fast Track Program bonus within 60 days, plus DailyPay access to earned wages.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Preferred institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to planned menus and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation; pull trash, sweep, and mop as needed.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and follow department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook according to recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations concerning sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks; stay organized and clean.
• Stand for extended periods; be able to lift and move as required.
• Other duties as needed by the facility.

About This Position

The Food Service Worker prepares and serves a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus within a correctional setting.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to, cleaning as you go and maintaining a neat and food safe workstation, which you will clean and maintain. These responsibilities also include pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, food handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred:
  • Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
