Trinity Services Group in Gainesville, FL is hiring a Food Service Supervisor for on-site work inside a jail/correctional facility. You will oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff, preparing and serving meals according to menus and recipes, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is at least 18, and preferably has institutional food service or restaurant experience.

About This Position

$18.00/hour + $500 new hire bonus

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director.You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need
