Job summary

SSP America is seeking Food Service Workers to operate at one of our restaurants inside Fresno Yosemite International Airport. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and serve a variety of drinks and foods to guests.

The ideal candidate has one year of food service experience, strong English communication, basic math for cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods. This is a full-time role with $17.00 per hour plus tips, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication in English to interact with guests.
• Basic math skills to operate a cash register and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a variety of food items.
• Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists; maintain health standards.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for Food Service Workers to work at our one of restaurants inside the Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Food Service Worker:

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has

• One year of experience working in food service environment
• Verbal and written communication Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
