Job summary

SSP America is hiring Baristas for Peet's Coffee shops inside Fresno Yosemite International Airport. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and prepare a range of beverages and foods while following recipes and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in food service, strong English communication, and solid customer-service skills. The role is full-time with paid vacation and referral bonuses in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working in food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total checks, and prepare cash drops.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items; operate POS procedures to pre-check orders and close checks.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for Baristas to work at our Peet'scoffee shops located inside the Fresno Yosemite international Airport.

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Barista:

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.


• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.


• Receive payment from the customer and process change.


• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.


• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.


• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.


• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has
