Job summary

Brevard College is seeking a dedicated dining services team member to distribute and serve meals, set up serving lines, and keep dining spaces clean. This full-time, non-exempt role supports daily operations in our campus dining facility and offers opportunities to learn food service best practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer/phone skills, and ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Prepare dining areas for the serving of meals and set up serving lines.


• Clean dining, service, and food preparation areas.


• Runmeal cards.Takecashorcredit cardsaspayment fromouroutsideguestsandmake change.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Understandsandfollowsallpoliciesand procedures.


• Assistsinensuringasafeworkingenvironmentthroughoutthefacilityforall employees.


• Assistsinmonitoringemployeeproductivityandprovidessuggestionsforincreasedservice or productivity.


• Responsible for theoversight ofday-to-day activities ofsubordinates and assigns responsibilityforspecificworkorfunctional activitiesasdirected byon-sitemanagement.


• Performsday-to-dayassignmentstoinclude,cleaningtables,refillingstock,napkinsand tableware.


• Helpwithrefillingplates,silverwareandcleaningbeverageandeating surfaces.


• Workswithcustomerstoensuresatisfactioninsuchareasasquality,serviceandproblem resolution.


• ComplieswithallNorthCarolinaHealthpoliciesand procedures.
