Responsibilities

Are you an experienced food service worker with experience preparing and serving meals in large quantities? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for Food Service Workers to join our team.

Position Summary

The Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation and service of all Palmetto Lowcountry meals and the general duties to support the kitchen and dining room.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Preparation and service of all campus meals and snacks
• Maintaining an organized and clean kitchen and dining area
• Other kitchen and dining duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: At least one (1) year experience as a cook, or a relevant combination of education and experience. Must be able to use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers; knowledge of hygiene factors involved in food preparation; knowledge of cleaning methods.

Licensure/Certification: BLS and CPI training provided upon hire.

Other requirements: Ability to concentrate amidst distractions, meet deadlines, work flexible hours, maintain confidentiality, and perform multiple tasks concurrently.
