About This Position
$16.00/hour + $400 new hire bonus
This position is located inside of a jail/correctional facility.
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising inmate labor and team members assisting with food service in a correctional facility. This includes preparing and serving food according to menus and work instructions, and using food preparation utensils and machines.

Essential Functions

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service
• Prepare and assist in food preparation according to menus and recipes
• Ensure proper storage and sanitation of food
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment properly
• Follow food safety regulations
• Train other food service workers
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Follow uniform and safety policies
• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, at least 18 years old
