Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Per Diem food service worker to prepare and deliver patient trays, serve in the cafeteria, and support tray line operations. Responsibilities include stocking, nourishing preparation, dishwashing, and general cleaning in a hospital setting.

Starting July 1, 2017, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, with county-specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers patient trays and serves cafeteria meals.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

Pay Transparency

West Anaheim Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.75 to $23.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
