Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a van driver to deliver food products on local routes in Wisconsin. The role requires ensuring safe vehicle operation, accurate paperwork, and courteous customer interactions from Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 7:00 am, with occasional Mondays. Training occurs Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip checks, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and service standards while meeting DOT and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 12 months experience.
• Non-Commercial Driver's License
• Meet the medical requirements of the DOT
• Excellent driving record.
• Successful driving experience.
• 1+ years of driving experience in the foodservice industry (preferred).
• OSHA forklift operator certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Count items and verify invoices.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders on a predetermined route.
• Unload products and assist in storage areas at customer sites.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
• Load returns and manage damaged goods.
• Complete daily logs of hours of service as required.
