Location: Belmont Abbey College

• We are hiring immediately for a part-time Food Service Utility position.
• Address: Belmont Abbey College - 100 Belmont Mount Holly Road, Belmont, NC 28012. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior experience with cleaning, washing dishes, and dining room setup is required. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of house setup.
• Helps load or unload and deliver supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
