Job summary

Compass Group USA's Chartwells Higher Ed unit seeks a FOOD SERVICE UTILITY for full-time and part-time roles in Salisbury, NC. The position maintains kitchen work areas, cleans equipment, and supports service operations.

Prior food service experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, with PM shifts and weekends possible; training and benefits are provided. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions.
• Address: 2300 West Innes Street, Salisbury, NC 28144. Note: online applications accepted only.
