Job Opportunity: Food Service Utility at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Utility positions at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, located at 1007 Goodyear Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35903. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Shifts include 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. Days may vary; more details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous food service utility experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Pay Range: $9.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas, ensures cleanliness of equipment and utensils, and supports overall sanitation and safety standards.

Essential Duties

1. Sweep and mop floors to maintain safety and sanitation.
2. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
3. Remove trash and clean garbage cans.
4. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
5. Assist with banquet setup and front-of-house arrangements.
6. Help load, unload, and deliver supplies and products.
7. Distribute supplies and utensils as needed.
8. Follow sanitation and safety protocols.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
