Job summary

CulinArt Sector in Norwalk, CT is hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY to maintain kitchen areas and ensure equipment is clean and sanitary. The position is based at Merritt 7 Corporate Park, Norwalk, CT 06851 with an early morning schedule.

The role requires prior dishwashing and utility experience; a referral bonus is available for internal candidates. The job offers a fixed pay rate of $19.00 per hour and included benefits for associates.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing and utility experience required.
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
