Job summary

CulinArt's Norwalk, CT location is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility to support kitchen operations and maintain sanitation. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Merritt 7 Corporate Park facility.

Applicants should have prior dishwashing and utility experience. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $19.00 per hour, with extensive benefits for associates as part of Compass Group's program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Washes worktables, surfaces, and prep areas; handles sanitation duties.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety standards.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; assists with setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies; distributes items as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
