Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility at Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT. You will maintain kitchen areas, keep utensils clean, and support daily operations.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with duties including dishwashing, stock rotation, and sanitation to meet safety standards. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21.40 and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• General utility experience in food service or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, and prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and manage waste disposal.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet setup and loading/unloading supplies.
• Distribute utensils and equipment as needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
