Flik Independent School Dining at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA is hiring for a full-time Food Service Utility. The role supports kitchen operations, maintains cleanliness, and helps with foodservice setups from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Previous food service experience is preferred; the position offers competitive pay ($22.00–$24.00 per hour), a full-time schedule, and the opportunity to work in a school dining environment with benefits and meal programs.

• Sweep and mop floors to maintain sanitation standards.
• Wash work surfaces, tables, and prep areas to keep them clean.

• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Help load/unload and deliver supplies and products.
• Distribute utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions. Location: Beaver Country Day School - 791 Hammond Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule. Days may vary; 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Further details upon interview. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Pay Range: $22.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour.

Requirement: Previous experience preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
