Job summary

Compass Group USA, through its Bon Appétit Management Company, is hiring immediate full- and part-time Food Service Utility staff for Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. Location is on campus with online applications accepted only. No experience is required, and training is provided.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits for both full-time and part-time roles. The role maintains kitchen areas, cleans equipment, and assists with setup, loading, unloading, and general duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
