Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility at Summit School in Winston-Salem, NC. The role maintains kitchen areas, cleans equipment, and supports daily foodservice operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with some nights and weekends.

Prior food service experience is preferred, with benefits including free meals and uniforms. Location is Summit School; online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm; some nights and weekends required.
• Location: Summit School, 2100 Reynolds Road, Winston Salem, NC 27106; online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
