Job summary

Price Chopper Supermarkets–Market 32 in Scranton is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver fast, friendly service and assist with food preparation to corporate standards. The role includes maintaining a clean, sanitized workstation and providing a positive customer experience at all times.

You will also sample and suggest products, handle orders accurately, and ensure compliance with store policies and state regulations while working a physical shift on-site.

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the preparing of food to corporate specifications to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with corporate and state regulations.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $13.75- $17.00

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
• Responsible for sampling and suggestive selling.
• End each customer transaction with a thank you.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Cook and finish food within company standards.
• Ensure accuracy of customer special order.
• Merchandise all food products within company guidelines.
• Adhere to all corporate, state and federal rules and regulations.
• Adhere to corporate uniform policy.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Maintain cold case logs, hot food logs and cooling logs consistent with store policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
