Job summary

The Wendy's Company in Picayune, MS is seeking dependable team members to join our busy restaurant crew. You will prepare and serve food, assist customers, and keep the dining area clean and stocked while following safety and quality standards.

No experience is required, but you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible shifts. We welcome individuals 16 years or older with a positive attitude and good communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computers and/or cash register systems helpful.
• Good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all food orders are assembled correctly within stated time goals.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and fully stocked dining room, restroom, and work area.
• Prepares, portions, and serves hot food orders per customer requests (sandwiches, chili, baked potato, fries, etc.).
• Stocks, portions, and serves beverages.
• Operates cash register according to cash operations policies.
• Takes orders from customers, personally and from intercom system, interfaces with customers and provides quality service.
• Preps store for opening.
• Closes store (restocks supplies and cleans up facilities, food preparation, and storage units).
