Target is hiring a Food Service Team Leader in Houston who will lead a team of hourly associates to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations. You will manage daily tasks, oversee food safety, inventory, and service standards, and participate in hiring and onboarding as part of a high-energy store environment.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on guest experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
• Able to lead and hold others accountable.
• Capable of managing workload and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure team understands and delivers Target's guest experience commitments and operations.
• Observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable for excellent guest experiences.
• Monitor area metrics and take action to improve outcomes.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and traffic patterns.
• Maintain food safety and proper inventory in back-of-house and production areas.
• Lead team to uphold brand standards and production specifications where applicable.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding for the team.
• Lead safety and compliance, and foster an inclusive work environment.
