Primrose School of Iowa Colony is seeking a Food Service Teacher to join our school chef team. You will prepare delicious, nutritious meals that fuel learning and play for young children, while ensuring safety and allergy awareness in a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Strong skills in inventory management and control.
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations.
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, nutritious meals for young children and support their health.
• Assist with daily menu planning and ordering.
• Monitor allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure safe meals.
• Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with the Director.
• Lead kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff when needed.
