Primrose School of Lowry in Denver invites you to join as a Food Service Teacher - School Chef. You will prepare nutritious meals that fuel children as they learn and grow, while upholding health and safety standards in a daycare setting.

You’ll manage kitchen operations, supervise staff, handle inventory, and collaborate with the Director on menus and dietary needs. This role offers a supportive team, opportunities to contribute to community wellness, and a warm, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Strong skills in inventory management and control.
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations.
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, nutritious meals for children and ensure meals meet safety standards.
• Follow the daily menu and collaborate with the Director on meal planning.
• Assist with ordering food and calculating quantities needed for the week.
• Maintain accurate inventory and monitor kitchen operations.
• Support health and safety practices in the kitchen and dining areas.
