Job Description:
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen and dining operations, ensuring quality food preparation and excellent customer service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining cleanliness and compliance, and working closely with management to meet service standards. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory experience in a food service setting, strong communication skills, and a commitment to team success.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service workers and kitchen staff
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to quality, portion, and safety standards
• Train, schedule, and support team members to meet performance goals
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and receiving supplies
• Address and resolve customer or staff concerns in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and food handling procedures
• Complete daily reports, temperature logs, and shift checklists as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in hospitality or culinary arts
• 1–2 years of experience in food service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen operations
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in high-pressure situations
• ServSafe or food handler certification is
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
