You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and provide assistance as needed. Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets, including sheets and recipes.
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and department requirements.
4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure food is served per menu specifications following policies and procedures.
6. Ensure department compliance with health and safety codes and regulations.
7. Maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
8. Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production levels.
9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
10. Maintain a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor food service workers.
12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as needed.
13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
14. Proficient in multi-tasking.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
16. Fill in for absent employees when necessary.
17. Stay informed about catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
18. Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
19. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via various channels.
20. Perform cashier duties if needed.
21. Promote good public relations.
