Position: Food Service Supervisor
Location: Citi Field, New York Mets
Pay Range: $25.00/hr (fixed rate)

Job Description

We are seeking full-time Food Service Supervisors to lead our passionate Food Services Team. You will work alongside a manager to oversee staff, coordinate operations, and ensure excellent service. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
  • Direct daily food service activities.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain organized and hazard-free storage environments.
  • Supervise food service operations, including serving schedules and safety compliance.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and health regulations.
  • Manage inventory and prepare orders as needed.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff; promote teamwork.
  • Maintain equipment logs and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Work at catering events, including nights and weekends.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management.
  • Perform cashier duties if required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
  • Complete a sanitation course (before or during first year).
  • Knowledge of cost-effective food service operations.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and resolve interpersonal issues.
  • Strong organizational skills.
