Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a Food Service Supervisor in Marietta, GA. The role directs the facility's food service operation as the second-in-command, guiding daily activities and supervising staff to ensure smooth service delivery.

You will maintain food safety certifications, manage paperwork for governing agencies, and support ACA preparation and audits. This position reports to the Food Service Director and requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in the area of assignment, one year in a lead worker or supervisory role.
• Or one year of experience at the lower level Food Svc Worker 3 (FFS012) or position equivalent.
• ServSafe Manager Certification is preferred by agency.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the food service operation at the facility level as second-in-command.
• Oversees daily operation and supervises subordinate staff.
• Maintains Food Safety Management certification (ServSafe or approved agency).
• Reviews reports for accuracy for governing agencies (DPH, USDA, DOE, DJJ, ACA).
• Places weekly orders for raw foods, considers inventory and population.
• Assists with ACA preparation and audits for compliance.
• Ensures audits are prepared for internal and external reviews and addresses noncompliance.
